Academic Ophthalmology Clinic (Prof. Paolo Nucci)

Leader in our country in particular for the cure of the pediatric eye diseases. Lots of congenital and infantile cataract surgical interventions, pediatric glaucoma surgery, and hundreds of strabismus corrections (both for infancy and adult age) are performed every year. The management of infantile ocular disorder is very different compared to treatment of a routine age-related. • 10.000 paediatric ocular investigations
  • 50 procedures of congenital/infantile cataract
  • 15 procedures of congenital glaucoma surgery
  • 700 strabismus correction surgery
