HUMANITAS ACHIEVES 8TH JCI REACCREDITATION: A Commitment to Excellence in Clinical Quality and Safety
Last week, Humanitas Research Hospital successfully concluded its Joint Commission International (JCI) survey, achieving its eighth consecutive accreditation. This milestone reaffirms our unwavering dedication to clinical quality and safety, values that have guided our institution since 2002, when we became the first Italian polyclinic to earn this prestigious certification.
A Rigorous Evaluation Process
Over 1,200 standards were meticulously reviewed during the survey, conducted through direct engagement and dialogue with our medical staff, nurses, technicians, and colleagues from every department. This comprehensive evaluation underscored a fundamental value that defines Humanitas: a shared culture of quality and safety embedded in every aspect of patient care.
Excellence in Action
The journey toward the achievement of a JCI reaccreditation in 2024 was a demanding challenge, but one that culminated in a truly remarkable outcome. As the surveyors noted, the results were “excellent for an academic and research hospital.” This accolade reflects the relentless effort, expertise, and dedication of every professional at Humanitas.
A Collective Achievement
This reaccreditation is not just a recognition of past achievements but a renewed commitment to maintaining the highest levels of care for patients.
